Butler tire marietta complaints8/27/2023 ![]() The customer refused to come in - once again. Because the customer paid with credit card it is not possible for us to send out a check, the refund would need to be applied to the same card that was used which would need to be presented at the store in order to complete. The customer stated he would never come back to our store ever again and requested a check be sent to him for the refund amount. We offered a full refund as well as to try rebalance his wheels again - free of charge. We have no record of any message left on our chat line for Marietta but have since contacted and spoken to Mr. Balance all four wheels and tires as best as possible". The notes on the signed invoice state:"All four wheels had no weights on the wheels and the wheels aren't hub centric. ******** signed the invoice acknowledging the concerns and issues that would need to be addressed before we could balance his tires perfectly. We would be happy to provide the signed invoice that notes all of the above where Mr. ******** was made aware when he picked up his vehicle that in order for us to correctly balance his wheels they would need said hub centric rings and that we balanced the wheels as best as possible given the fact that hub centric rings were not installed prior to bringing it to us or present at the time when the vehicle was at our location. The hub centric rings make sure the wheels fit correctly on the hub of the vehicle which greatly reduces the chance for vibration issues. This was only part of the problem, the main problem is the wheels are not hub centric which means they would need hub centric rings in order to make them sit correctly and flush on the vehicle. The wheels had no weights on them which would have given us reason to believe that is why the vehicle was experiencing a vibration issue. Hi, Customer was made aware of the challenges we faced while attempting to the best of our ability to balance his wheels. I was told Butler Tire was the best for tire balancing, but have learned my lesson when you will not even return message or even just recheck the work that was done. I feel the best way to resolve this issue was to contact me Before any service was done, they had my cell number! Discount Tire has never mentioned Hub Centric during or after any balancing work. This is very upsetting to have wasted time and money on something that had no results. I have not yet had a returned phone call. ![]() They wanted another $105.00 AGAIN just to check the tire! I have left a message on the chat line for the Marietta location manager to call me about this situation. I called to see if they could check one tire since the Marietta store failed to balance them correctly. I immediately called the Alpharetta location after returning from trip. I took the truck on a trip and it nearly shook my teeth out of my head,It was so not in balanced! Much worst than before being balanced. They balanced my tires and charged me $105.00 and explained I needed Hub Centric after paying. I have after market wheels that they say will require for true balancing. ![]() The truck was there all day and no one called to say I needed Hub Centric for true balancing. I took my truck into Butler Tire in Marietta on S. ![]()
